Here's my pic of some new swatches - it's taken in dull, white winter sunlight but the colours came out pretty true to life, although the complexity of idolize doesn't really show up fully. They're light-touch, dry swatches. I've put in the original pic and the adjusted pic so you can see the 'true' and 'normalised' colour:
and here it is with the RGB blue element adjusted to -22 to counteract the 'blue' of the white light (neutralises it to "normal") no other adjustments so it's colour-true:
(If it's confusing to have both pics, I totally don't mind if it's deleted

This is a thread split off of 'Jen's Swatch Gallery'. With colors that you purchase online, the more pictures the better! Differing styles of taking pics only adds to the information on a product.
Please feel free to add swatches to this thread because you will be helping out the next customer!

Here's a few more - taken at 3pm in dull afternoon winter sunlight, so apologies that the vibrancy and intensity of colour is lost but it's at least an idea to start with.
Heart Throb is so much like idolize - it's a shame this photo can't show the complexity but it has a slightly indigo-violet base that is beautiful. Melange is a colour that reminds me of champagne and satiny textures. Wildcat is deep, dark, mysterious and brooding and with a playful twinkle of gold just like a mischievous glint in the eye!
(Ember is my own recipe, just including it as I made this pic to show a friend. It's 1 Basalt : 1 Fete : 2 Fire)

Here's swatches of my new haul. Hope they come out well. They were taken about 4:30pm on a semi-overcast day outside, without flash.

Edited to add. The pic with the green background was taken inside, with flash. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

i accidentally put this post under another thread--i meant to put it here--sorry it will be in two places--
but i did some actual lip swatches of all the lippies that i have and posted them on my vox account. to see them head to testqueen.vox.com, read the post, and then go to the photos section. i did include a shot of my bare lips for comparison. hopefully this will help out other gals with moderately pigmented lips who are relatively new to SN's ah-mazing lippies. (my lips look pretty light in the bare pic, but keep in mind they were taken under natural daylight with no flash).
