Ivory foundation bases (medium or heavy)

Hi,

For all of you who have tried the medium and heavy foundation bases or one or the other, can you tell me which one you prefer and why? I am needing to order some ivory base and can't decide if I should get the medium or heavy. I do have some hyperpigmentation to cover on one side of my face, so am thinking heavy; however, it seems I read somewhere that the heavy is very heavy and should be used mostly for concealer. What do all you Silk Natural expert ladies think?

I use the heavy only as a concealer. I find the medium has good coverage and can be layered.

Why not order the medium & get a sample of the heavy? The sample will allow you to mix a concealer to taste.

I tend to mix-n-match. Needed to mix a batch yesterday & realized I only had a bit left of the medium...so I combined the original with the heavy & that was fine!

Thanks Mikie, I will order the medium and get a sample of the heavy as you suggested. That way, I can have both just to see.
