Peace similar to Precious?

Peace similar to Precious?

I've seen a lot of love for Peace lately and I was wondering how it compares to the other "pink with gold" colors? A few lovely ladies here have been very generous sending me all sorts of samples to play with and now I think my favorite look is to layer Gold Blush and Maiden. I think Precious would be a good color for me? But then I started looking up other light pinks with gold shimmer and Peace caught my attention. Anyone have both and could compare? TIA! :)

well naturally i have both. lol

similar finish/ level of gold sheen/shimmer. Peace is pinker, precious is peachier (mostly peach really- that's what happens when you mix baby pink with gold). They're still very similar. If you're not into the sheen so much, i would go with peace but i have an intense love for precious.

I don't have Peace, but I LOVE Precious. I can't imagine this not working for anyone. Looks great as is, but also looks great layered w/ other colors; warmup or cool down other colors. This is one I think you will grab all the time. (I was looking at Peace too.)

Actually, Precious doesn't work for some of us. If you have very pigmented lips, you might want to give it a pass, or only layer it over something else, and I don't really use it for that, either. It just gives my lips an unflattering yellow sheen.

Thanks, ladies. I think I might have to get them both. If they don't work by themselves, I can always layer them over something that is too dark/pink, right? :D

I might try layering precious with something else, thanks for the idea! I've just got one and I love the sheen, but my upper and bottom lips have different levels of pigmentation so it looked a bit off on me just now..

I have both too. Peace seems a bit of a pink sheen on my dark lips, it maybe even lightens them up a bit. Somehow I'm getting a bit of a cooler-toned appearance from it than from Precious. And yes, they would both be nice for layering. Thanks for reminding me about it, wearing it today :)
