Stardust or Satisfied blush difference?

Post by Trainer » Sat Jul 11, 2009 10:26 am

I was wondering if anyone has used both satisfied blush and stardust? Are they very similar? I got a sample of stardust and was going to buy a full size but then I saw the satisfied color and that looked really nice as well. :D

stardust is more intense and a little less shimmery than satisfied. Satisfied is an amped up version of climax and has more pink in it that stardust. Satisfied is more neutral where stardust is more warm.

I couldn't find a swatch of satisfied in jen's swatches but here's climax and stardust:

Agreed. I'm cool toned and I can just get away with Satisfied. Stardust is way too warm. They're both on the warmish side, though Satisfied is much closer to neutral.

Thank you so much for posting that. It really helps. I will try a sample of climax and satisfied, but I think stardust will be best for me. I think I look better with peach than pink. This is a silly question, but is there an easy way to tell if you are cool toned or warm toned? And how do you know if a color is best for cool or warm toned? I've read things about it but I can't decide. I think I am warm toned. I have brown hair with some natural highlights and brown eyes. I am using 1 olive and 14 ivory.
Is there a blush that is shimmery and peachy/coral? :D

Shimmery peachy coral would be Lovelace.

From what you wear in foundation, I would say you are neutral with a bit of warmth. Anything very warm toned might not work for you. Really, you could get away with most cool colors, too.

I am 1:16 Olive and I like both Stardust and Satisfied. Satisfied is my go to blush right now.

wish you were here is a good one. I liked rich and sassy but they're DCed. Lovelace is a good one too. I agree with Jen that you're probably pretty close to neutral so you should be able to pull off both warm and cool tones
