Lip Gloss Question

Post by trixiejim » Wed Apr 15, 2009 7:29 pm

I am looking for a lip gloss color that is light/medium to medium pink with glimmer. The colors I've gotten in the past are all too dark alone, so I apply Sparkle on top and it looks perfect, but I want a color that I don't have to add Sparkle to.

The colors I have that are too dark are: Damsel, Sweet Nothing, Seedy, and Berry Nice.

Would love your advice, thanks!

How about Soft, or the new colour Bloom? Or Pout, for sparkle?

Hah, you must have the same lips I do! All those colors show up a bit too dark on me by themselves.

Soft is pretty nice, more a medium pink than light though. However, I think Bloom is what you're looking for :) I got it in the mail today and already wore it out: soft pink that's light even on my lips. I would also recommend Peace, it's definitely light, but it's on the shimmery side.

If you want something more nude-y pink, I would suggest Centerfold or Precious. The former looks pretty brownish in the tube, but when you put it on, it's like a bit of a tan pink. Precious is similar, with a bit more shine.

I am thinking Peace or Pout. Other options are Tender and Bloom. IMO Soft is kind of similar in depth to Damsel.

I've fallen in love with Ice Princess, myself. Almost didn't order it, but very glad I did. I also like layering it over Precious, but I think Ice Princess is just about my perfect pink.

I was just looking up the colors you all suggested and I can't find Ice Princess anywhere. Where on the website is it located?

Thank you!

Thanks Jen! It looks beautiful and I'd love to try it, but I see on the ingredients list that it has carmine in it and I don't do carmine :(
I'm going to try the ones suggested that didn't have carmine in them.
I appreciate the help!

Kim :-)
