Hi gals,
Just wanted to let you know that I used the 100% silk powder as a base to mix my foundation with this time, and I'm very pleased with the results. The coverage is lighter than the regular ivory foundation base, a little more sheer, but it's much more comfortable for dry or sensitive skin. Additionally, the texture is a little different, but if you're used to using silk powder, it's no big deal. And it takes the primer and foundation steps of my regimen into one. Highly recommended!

Wow, I never would of thought to try that. Sounds great for days you don’t have any time to spare.

Great idea! Will have to pick some up when um..shopping..
again! This may become more important as cold weather sets in, but I'll tell you, I am older w/dry skin & I used SN all last winter. Definitely thinking of adding some to my mix for winter, though. Thanks!

No problem! If you like light coverage it works great. I usually throw perfecting powder over the top of it and it's enough coverage for me. I itch if I use the regular foundation base but the silk powder base is really comfy.

Hmm, I tried to use a little of the warm gold to *yellow up* my perfecting powder, as Tempt Tryst is to sparkly for me, and no matter how hard I shook, the little yellow grains would just not mix in, so when I tried to apply it it, I got funny mustard colored spots. Lesson learned. Sleep in a jar works better.
