Yay, can't wait for the MAC! Jennifae, you do the best swatches, I love all your pics! It is so easy to tell from them which colours will work for me. Thank you ♥

Mojave is my new fav neutral. It looks like dusky pink on my lids with minimal shimmer. I wore it as a minimal eye last night, creased with 9.59 (or was it Pink Twink, can't tell) and a black liner with Shrieking Violet on my lips.

I tried, but lame old iphone is just not going to do justice :/ I couldn't even get a shot of how bright and pretty the lippie was,
all you could see is some faint pinkish shine, meh.
I'm gonna have to ask the BF to start taking my glamour shots, he has a nifty setup.

In any case, I think Mojave looks on my eye lids almost like St. Tropez does on my lips, color-wise.

Egerandi,

I am off to try shine w/ mojave on lips (I was thinking about ordering St. Tropez). Maybe I need shrieking violet too!! I agree Mojave is very pretty.

Egerandi,
Does it look similar to sandstone use to? (Hopefully I'll get mine today! :D )

It's pinker and more shimmery than sandstone. It's most similar to purr but it leans pink where purr leans peach. For me, it looks very very much like quiver does on me (the overall color, not the morphing properties. The pink and the gold in quiver balance out to a nice peachy pink shimmer). On un-prepped lids (well mine) it blends in with the darker coloring and looks like a dusky pink nude. On prepped lids, it shows up a bit more but is still pretty nude.

Yes! It's exactly what I was looking for to replace Nude Beach! Purr was too salmon colored for me but Mojave is more flesh colored and sheer and just a subtle wash of sparkles. Thank you, Karen!!! :D

Here's a swatch of Mohave GWP (last week's color) on the left, and Homecoming Queen GWP (this week's color) on the right, in natural light. Homecoming Queen is a creamy almost golden ivory with beautiful shimmer! Reminds me of the creamy color of natural pearls... I really love these colors!

Image

And here they are on my eyes, in sunlight! I don't have any other makeup on today, so no FOTD, just an EOTD. ;)

Image

SN eye primer, then a dusting of foundation. Homecoming Queen from lash to brow, highlight under the brow, and inner tear duct. Mohave from lash to crease, in the crease and blended out. SN mascara in Black. Brows from a different brand. Taken in sunlight from the window...the shadow on one side is because it's damn near impossible to get a straight ray of sun in the house not shadowed by leaves! I don't mind though, keeps the house cooler...just makes pics a challenge! ;)

I was gonna swatch all the new lippies, but my camera battery died. That's why I didn't get another eye shot in natural light!
