Hemp Moisturizer, Luxury Powder and Other Skincare ???

Hi Ladies!! So I am loving my foundation/blushes/es/lippies so much I decided to give the skin care a try. I have been using the hemp moisturizer at night, and although my skin feels super soft and it hasn't caused any breakouts (on my extremely acne prone skin), my skin feels on the dry side. Would another moisturizer be better or should I add a serum?!? I did get a sample of the Super Serum, but I wait almost 2 weeks before introducing a new product so that I know which one my skin reacts to.

Also, how do you use the new Luxury Powder Treatment? Does it go on after your moisturizer has settled in? I want to try it, but don't know where to put it into my routine.

For reference, here is my current routine:
A.M. Cleanse CV Soap, Tone - Lily Organics Sensitive Toner, Moisturize - Devita Solar
P.M. Cleanse CV Soap, Tone - Lily Organics Senstive Toner, Hemp Moisturizer

I find the serums do help! I use the oatmeal serum, and I love it. My skin is very... non greasy or oily after I use the lotions, but I tend to prefer this to the feeling of regular oils.

I think you can use it after your moisturizer at night, and between your moisturizer and makeup in the day.....

I have not gotten my hands on any as of yet, but I think it just applies with a fluffy brush.

I have also found with the moisturizers, because they are like a gel, my skin also can feel a bit tight or something strange after I apply them (so far I have tried the emu, raspberry, firming), and they all have this funny feeling after. I am also using 3 serums, and I noticed if my skin is not completely dry before applying the lotion (dry either from washing or from a serum) then I get that feeling. But I did noticed that they are not all the same, so maybe try some samples of the other lotions and see how they react with your skin. The super serum really leave my skin so soft (I then use the peptide serum only around my eyes, mouth and forehead where my smiley lines are appearing), and when those are dry I apply the oatmeal serum all over (night only). Finally I have to leave that for at least 15 mins before applying the moisturiser ( I am using the Emu one). I just got a sample of the new moisturizer, daily defence, and that one left my skin really hydrated with none of the tight feeling. But if you are acne prone maybe it would cause you problems? You could try a sample of that and see how you do…
I used the luxury treatment last night for the first time. I applied it after everything was dry (lotions, serums, etc….). I used a blush size fluffy brush (ecotools baby kabuki) and that worked fine. I think I applied too much though, my skin had a definite white cast to it. I was going to bed so I don’t mind, but if I were to use it during the day I’d definitely use it before the rest of my makeup.

I am also wondering if it would be possible to add tint to it…I am thinking for evenings at the in-laws, would like to use it but then my face would look a bit ghostly…
But it was really nice on my skin, though I am sure I need more than one night to see any benefits.

I have that exact feeling too! I only ordered the Raspberry Moisturizer and my skin felt really tight afterward. I'm glad you mentioned this because I wasn't sure if it was just my skin being wonky. It felt soft, but tight. So you have the Emu moisturizer and you say it leaves you with the same feeling? I was going to try out a sample of that as well because I have straight emu oil that I love as a night time moisturizer but was looking for a lighter version for the day time.

I again have to pipe and say how amazing the Hemp Moisturizer is, it really is the perfect product for sensitive/acne skin that is on the drier side.
I used the Luxury Powder today after I was splashed my face with cold water and dried it (on the days I'm not using BA this is all I do for "cleansing" since I don't get oily/sweaty at night), right over my skin. I won't be applying makeup for several hours and wanted to try it out. I just used my LHK and it made my skin slightly more even looking, promising as a primer.

I've been using the Luxury Powder the last week or so. After removing makeup and moisturizing, I brush it on just before going to bed. My face feels and looks great (comparatively) in the morning. I love this stuff. L.

I love Super Serum as it moisturizes and keeps my acne prone and sensitive skin calm. The other one that I'm trying now is Vit C Peptide Serum which is pretty good too (considering buying a full size as it doesn't react to acids). About moisturizers - they have a weird kind of smell, not unpleasant, but I can't put a finger on it. I used Hemp and didn't break me out, but the Jojoba one did. I used it on my neck (cos I can't afford anymore breakouts on my face) and my skin didn't like it.
