My head is spinning and I'm numb. I found out a couple of hours ago that my little brother has suffered a fatal heart attack. His wife and daughter were both out of town, and a neighbor discovered him. DH went off to arrange stuff with the funeral palour.
My kids are just sobbing....and I am sitting here just feeling numb. I feel just dead inside. I have bben lucky in my life that nothing like this has ever happened to me. I don't know what to do.

Oh Laurie- I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish had some magic words, or some sage advice- but having gone through it...time is the best healer.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it must be devastating to lose your brother. Remember how much you loved each other and how nothing, not even time, can take that away from you. He will always be a part of you. Take care of yourself and your family.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. My hugs and prayers for you and your family. Karen is right, time is a great healer , and in time it will be easier to recall all the good times that you had. Take time to grieve, we all work through it differently.
