Hi Allyxx,

welcome (waves back) :D

SN do 2 different types of glows - Perfecting Glows (found in the primers & finishers section) and Glows (in their own section on the menu bar)

The Perfecting Glows are pretty similar to Crystalline Cats in terms of depth of pigmentation and that they're more like a finishing powder which leaves a bit of a dewey finish rather than a full on 'glow' in my opinion.

The Glows are much more pigmented and sheeney - unfortunately I can't think of a direct comparison from the Meow products I've tried :? ; to give you some idea, they are as sheeny as the Taboo blushes (but not irridescent like the Taboo shades) and more intensely pigmented (but not quite as shiny or metallic as the Egyptian Treasures eye shadows). Most of the Glows are dupes of MAC Mineralised Skin Finish shades so if you've ever tried these (or swatched them on your hand) they are exactly the same in terms of finish.

Somewhat confusing description but hope this helps!

Thanks for replying kitten1711! :D

Ooohh...they sound really good! Both of the glows that SN make. So have you been using SN for long? Can you recommend some of your fav/must have products? LOL

Thanks in advance!

Hiya,

no problem. I've been using SN for just over a year and love pretty much everything of theirs I've tried; the texture of the eye shadows are lovely, there's a great range of blushes including a couple of great cream formulas, cream shadows/liners, lippies, and I think the concept of custom blending your own foundation is a great money saver (particularly for those who tan easily and need to have a few different shades on the go throughout the year), a whole heap of 'big brand' clones, and the skincare is amazing. All great value prices too. And Karen is great at listening to suggestions people make on the forum and creating more masterpieces accordingly :D

I am not big on wildly glittery products / bright colours and much prefer neutral type shades so most of these suggestions are pretty universally wearable. I could go on & on about the things I have & love but a few personal favourites (at the moment!) include:

Super Serum
Intensive Moisturiser

Stardust blush
Galaxy blush
Loverly cream blush
Lovelace blush
Tahiti sweetie bronzing powder

Halo
Siren
Crinoline glows

Sandstone
Destination
Honeymoon
Bargain Pink
Cabana
Bone
Mink
Bare
Boom eye shadows

Modern Poet liquid gloss
Centerfold
Maiden
Gold Blush
Precious
Divine (now defunked but the new Mirage is apparently v similar)

Clear Liner sealer - excellent multi purpose product for foiling, making cream liners from shadows you already own, grooming brows, using a thin layer as a 'shadow magnet' type thing.

If you are thinking of trying any of the brushes then the wet/dry shadow foiling brush & ultimat shadow brushs are excellent.

Hope this helps.
