Consistency of Liner Sealer

What should be the consistency of the liner sealer. From the video, it looks like the consistency of the cream blush.
I received mine last week, and it was hard and dry, like an old pot of Tiger Balm ointment. The eye shadow refuses to stick to it.. So sad... Am I using it wrongly?

the liners are much, much harder than the cream blushes. i have found the clear a little difficult to use...it takes a lot of swiping of a stiff liner brush, back and forth, for the friction to soften the liner a little. after i put the clear liner on, i take the same stiff brush and load it with the minerals i want, then press hard along the line i made with the clear liner (just like i would if i was dry lining my eyes with the minerals). it does last a little longer with the cream liner, but it's pretty time consuming...
i just got the black cherry liner in a swap and it is a little softer and easier to use than my clear liner. i'm using it more than i do the clear.

Thks Packgal, at least, I am not the only one finding it difficult to use.
So I need to get a stiffer brush...

I read somewhere that pencil liners soften if you warm them up by holding the tip between your fingers. Maybe for those in a pot, you can transfer some into a small pot and immerse it in warm water.

Hold the little pod of liner in your hand for a few minutes, usually alittle body heat is enough to warm it up and make it easier to use.
