I'm happy to get them all (just put in another order to get Stir Crazy), I was just wondering if it wouldn't be nice to see those colors too on the site. During the pre-xmas spree, the gwp goodies were all showed on a separate page - could we do the same with the current specials? I'm buying them blind, I know I'll end up with something cool, but for newer customers it might help even more to convince - oh, I want THAT pretty thing and I can only get it NOW!

Absolutely agree! I love that on my budget, SN do specials I can afford so it's great to get anything, but being able to see what it is will help it be really special so I can time it right and order to co-incide with a special that'll really suit me.

Besides, with the complexity and... no, I'll go further than that ... with the "couture" colours SN do, photographing a special will certainly encourage more orders!

I would do this for you, but the only recent GWP I have is Melange.

I THINK I have most of them, but if you make a list, I'll see if i'm missing any. I do have an order in the mail with the most recent one so it isn't quite here yet.

I have melange and mogul, vineyard, and superstar, and am waiting on stir crazy and am pretty sure i have some others in there (what was before melange? lol). Might have to be something Karen does since they usually only run for a week or two, right?

Mogul was before Melange. You have all of the GWP eyeshadows, Sam. I have them all but Mogul and Stir Crazy. I did end up with the three lippie GWPs. Hopefully, Joy and Happiness will revisit us at some point and Peace is a regular product.

I know Karen is up to her eyeballs in house stuff. When it all settles down, she can probably work something out for the GWP pics. I would do it for you if I were there.

Oh, I actually just meant the current color only
During the xmas spree you could click a link for the specials, and it showed the color(s). If we could do the same for the current specials, that would help. Right now it reads: This week's gift with purchase is a 3-gram jar of Stir Crazy eye shadow... so you could click on the Stir Crazy words and see a picture of the color, like with the xmas colors.

here's the GWP that i recently got:
swatched over e/s base L to R: Poly, Danny, Stir Crazy (current GWP), Mogul (recent GWP)

the pic does not do justice to the beautiful sparkle of Stir Crazy and Mogul. in fact i can't get a good representation of mogul at all, it is such a sheer nice sparkly white-silver. i like the consistency of Stir Crazy and Mogul--they are different than the satin shadows (such as Danny)--looser, a little easier to spread, and more sparkley for those who like that now and then. (i love the satin finish too, just wanted to mention the difference. you may be able to kind of see the difference in finish in the pic).
i'm sorry i don't have more of karen's greens to swatch Stir Crazy next to for comparison--unfortunately i found SN after i had already gone crazy buying greens from other MMU companies (i have green eyes...this means i have more green and purple eyeshadows than i will ever be able to use ) Stir Crazy is described as 'olive teal' on the site so i put it next to Danny ('muted muddy green') and Poly ('blue with blue/green highlights').

SOLD!!! Oh my goodness, stir crazy is exquisite. If I could place another order just to have another spare jar of it, I would, in a heartbeat! Thanks and *hugs* for that pic

i've been wanting to do actual lip swatches of the lippies that i have for awhile and i got around to doing it today. i posted them on my vox blog at testqueen.vox.com (look under photos, and see the entry there for a few notes on the pics).
i own a lot of sheerer colors that are very similar (on my lips anyway) so the swatches probably aren't very helpful, but i thought i'd post and share them anyway. the last pic is one of my lips bare, with only clear lip balm on them.

My gosh! I'm continuously surprised on the difference one's own lips make... Those colors look nothing like that one me. You did get me inspired, so maybe when I have a minute, I'll make some lip swatches that may help those of us who have darker lips.
