Hello,
I wonder if there is any sunscreen in the foundation?
Hope for a quick answer!
Thank you,
Lise

Sunscreen is actually an over the counter drug according to the FDA, and there's a lot of paperwork, testing, and additional insurance that's required if you want to sell something with an SPF.
Logically, there's a lot of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide in it- and that's the same ingredients that they use in physical sunscreens. BUT it hasn't been tested to find out the real SPF rating, and it won't be.
I'm not actually in favor of using foundation as your only form of sun protection- the coverage varies so much from woman to woman that it doesn't feel like a responsible move to say it has SPFxyz in it.
For me, personally I figure if I can't see my skin, then the sun can't get to it...but that's a decision everyone has to make for themselves.

Frankly, even I like to use both my sunscreen and foundation separately as advised here!! As suggested here I try to wear clothes that don’t expose my skin to the sun –the little of these stuff you use the better off we are!! By the way, a very enlightening post on the subject!!
