daytime brown combo??

OK, anyone have any fabulous shadow/liner suggestions for a hazel eyed light skinned girl for daytime? I'd like to go with a liner (or a shadow to use as a liner), and two eyeshadow colors. Possibly matte (only because I always wear shimmers and I'd like to experiement with mattes.) I'm open to just about anything, and I'd love to hear your suggestions. I'll admit, I'm a little awestruck by all the color choices, and I'm not sure which combos would look best. PS - I love browns for daytime.

DW-
Here is my combo that I have used over and over; you could call it my 'no fail' combo. I think these were some of the first SN eyeshadows I bought last year, and I was definitley mostly into browns and simple looks at the time. I do a wash of Aztec from lash to crease including the crease, a brow highlight of Vanilla, and liner with Chocolate Twinkle. Yes, there are some sparkles in there, but as a liner the sparkle in Chocolate Twinkle does not have the impact of using it in larger areas. Aztec is a semi-shimmer or semi-matte (depending on if you are a half empty or half full type! ;) ). Vanilla is just my go to highlighter, although with the new color shifting shades I chose it only a little less often. I feel a brow highlight just needs a little shimmer to draw the eye away from my undereye area and make my eyes look more open. I will also admit that the dupes of the Stonewashed Nudes are lovely. They are like neutrals with a little something extra, and can be combined in may ways.

Hopefully our other experts will chime in here, too. The possibilities are endless, so as a group I hope we can narrow it down to a few you will love.

I love brown for daytime! It's my go-to combo. lol.

I wear Vanilla to highlight (actually i wear it all the way from lash to brow), Quartzite as the base (the lid), Luxe in the outer corner (though sunlit bark is great too), and bittersweet to line (chocolate twinkle has a little more impact than bittersweet, mink has a really natural-but-still-lined look)

A matte version: Bone, Honey, Mousse, and Basalt (i second mgm on adding some green though. Moss is a FANTASTIC liner. I also love caperberry)

for reference, I'm a fair brunette and my eyes change color (blue, grey, green, hazel) but are usually grey.

eta: i completely forgot about the gel liners since i don't wear them! Mahogany is a gorgeous shade of brown that is perfect for daytime.

How about throwing some earth tones with the browns?

I think Thistle as a liner with a something like Mocha, Eu-Taupe-Ia or Terra would be nice and simple for day, and be all matte.

Beach Plum on lid and crease with Espresso as a liner.

Moss (it is really, really pigmented a little will go a long way) is a beautiful liner, I like greens with light browns or pinks.

If you are willing to branch into shimmers and want simple and easy Bare, Boom, Cashmere, Wink Wink, Naughty, Honey are all great all over wash colors, just add an eyeliner, Espresso would work with all of them.

Get a sample of Amethyst, purple looks great on most hazel eyed people.

Bone and Caperberry are very elegant together- I do a wash of bone, and then caperberry in the outer v- both matte. Grassroots Green and Vanilla worn the same way if you want to go with a shimmer.. Honey and Bittersweet for shimmers. Envy is a great liner for hazel eyes...I made it for me, and that's my eye color. Purple and hazel work incredibly well together- Breathe is one of my faves. Wait a couple of days and I have some very wow colors coming! I just made the most stunning deep purple liner color that goes perfectly with Plush.

Oh boy, Karen. New eyeshadows? You do realize you are taking away from my kids college fund, right? Just kidding. I'd hire her out for child labor before I'd do that.

I will anxiously await the new colors. So far I am loving the suggestions for color combos. You guys are GREAT! I do have an order in for Mahogany liner, and I've been 'eyeing' Grassroots green and Caperberry.

Hi, hazel eyes here! Did a really quick wash with Highbeam today, then made the most gorgeous liner! I mixed Envy with Poly into the darkest night teal.....
Forbidden for blush, Copper Rose as Lippie.

I usually grab vanilla as a highlight, quartzite lash to crease, and then line with either bassalt or moss. I also like Caperberry with quartzite. I have green gold eyes, usually more green than gold, but honey lashline to brow makes a great easy eye, then I just line with bassalt and I'm set to go.
