My day
I slept in while my bf took care of the cable and internet hookup and then promptly indulged in some internet shopping. Very nice Thai place for lunch. Went to my mom's and played with my niece, had cake (chocolate cake filled with chocolate pudding and peanut butter frosting) and icecream (i brought some Kody Kups ice cream along for the dogs) and shrimp! (my favorite food)

From dbf were the 1.5 seasons i was missing from my Sex and the city collection, and a birthday orchid (my fav flower) plus lunch, a bookshelf, and a videogame i played when i was little (you can buy them through your xbox now. it was an old sega game called Golden Axe). Presents from my family are all for my new apt because they know i love stuff for my house: my sister gave me some very nice expensive sheets for my new queen bed (i only had one hastily bought sheet), my mom gave me a very pretty floor lamp (my living room has no wired lights) and a step stool (my ceilings are 11 feet high and my cupboards go all the way to the ceiling. I should take a picture in my kitchen because to get to the second from the top shelf i have to stand on the countertop. I can't really reach the top shelves. forget changing lightbulbs). I also got a bday scratchcard but i didn't win (my mom has bought them ever since my aunt gave me one for my 18th bday and i won $400- paid for my grad trip to cancun with my girls)

And my bday gets to keep going because my sister had to work so i get a present tomorrow and all of my presents to myself will come in the mail soon. lol.
