Official Request for LUCK

So...my AC adapter died today (second one in 2 months) as did the phone, and one of the dogs threw up on me. I messed up my damaged hand in my one day of work for the textiles company and i have no aspirin. I also have no insurance because I am no longer a student so both my student insurance and my parent's insurance dropped me on my -A-. The fleas aren't gone. You all know how the rest of my month has been:
"And god looked down from the heavens and said 'I HATE YOU, ALFALFA!!!'"-Little Rascals
I am in desperate of luck. Will accept in the form of 4-leaf clovers, salt thrown over shoulders, lucky horseshoes, luckydice, lucky pennies, lucky ducks, superstitious song and dance, and any other lucky thing you think of! (Though please let the little bunnies keep their feet).
And in the words of mothers everywhere: "Smile- It could be worse!"
The bottle of wine my boyfriend left in the fridge conveniently has one glass left. Coincidence? I think not...

Oh sweetie - I shall send some reiki if you like - won't cure, but it may help.
Not having a terrific day here, either, but I just got a new Lenormand deck, and if you want a read (on the house), I'll see if I can find something that looks like a good direction for ya in another day or two - until then, I'd advise downloading some Albert King - Born Under a Bad Sign is great, but I'll Play the Blues for You is my all-time feel better song.

Sending some good juju your way. Fleas hate mint, anything peppermint will keep them away. We moved into a place that had them in the carpet and after some very late night research a little bit of lemongrass and mint EO finally drove them off.
I hope things get better for you very very soon!

OK, Samantha. If I were in your shoes, I would state aloud *firmly*, "ENOUGH already. I am a decent person, I am GOOD to people & kind to animals. I will not *tolerate* any more nonsense/roadblocks thrown my way. TODAY, the nonsense STOPS, & the GOOD stuff can prance right on in."
My (uneducated, admittedly) theory is that all that negative energy keeps begetting *more*...feeding upon itself. So, OUST it! *Bet it'll work!* I'm old. I know things, heehee.
Negative energy, BEGONE!!!

And I know you all know this but please ENSURE that any EOs are pet-safe. Many are *toxic* to cats, so just make sure they're doggy-safe.Can't hurt Honey!!!

Oh my lord and I thought I was having a bad day.
From me to you Samantha, the luck of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales with my best wishes.
I agree with mike and her unarguable wisdom, let negative energy go and the positive in. Tomorrow is another day so hold your head up high and say, "Do your worse. I'm a silk naturals girl and we can handle anything".
If you can do something nice for yourself, something that makes you happy. Me I either prefer a good book or watching Troy.............again
Thoughts are with you Samantha

Thanks everyone for the well wishes- the sentiment helps greatly.
Mikie- I am running outside after posting this and telling the world to "Cut it OUT!" lol
Ghost- I did order myself a nice haul from MOAC 4 and read a book series (but the halfling died! not cool). I also made myself some pistacchio pudding. I might have to try Troy... lol
Rhys- Do you suppose the cards hold some luck for me soon?
As for the fleas...We have tried EVERYTHING. We stripped the beds and furniture and put them in the laundry, then we went outside and treated the yard, then we came back in the house, set off the flea bombs, and took the dogs outside and gave them flea baths, flea dips, flea spray, and new frontline (all in one go- poor dogs). For good measure we rubbed them down with mint and lemonbalm from the herb garden. Came back inside and the fleas attacked with a vengeance. I believe we have created superfleas. At any rate, they're all tiny fleas now which means the big ones died and new ones hatched. They most specifically like me and my dog over all others and we are ridiculously bitten. Honey also gets a rash because she's allergic to them. Since the chemicals weren't working and that's really just TOO many chemicals IMO (considering i go all natural in makeup and skincare) she's been getting regular baths about once a week alternating between lemon dawn and hydrocortisone shampoo. My clothes were in the bombing but I also washed ALL of them. I also bought natural Cutter bug spray (lemon and eucalyptus) which smells horrible but doesn't seem to bother the fleas in the slightest. I've decided that when I move, I am washing everything and treating my new apt. so that we don't bring the fleas with us. My sister is supposed to move into her house soon and take her two dogs with her and then hopefully my mom will be able to get rid of the fleas here. Until then, i'm just going to have to deal with being bitten.

Ugh on the fleas - I lived in a place that had them once and freezing them out was the only thing that worked - not really practical in summer.
I read somewhere that very few people are actually sensitive to flea bites - I was a bloody mess (literally) from them, and it doesn't sound like you're doing much better.
Ghaaa!
I'll rig the cards - there's a four-leaf-clover in there - would you like that one in your readng, madamoiselle?

Keep moving forward, Sam! Sometimes in life you don't know whether to laugh or cry. A little of both really helps. Get all the emotions out, and keep going.
I hope your Holiday is a great one!
