....when what you really want to do is sit by your mailbox and wait for your SN order to arrive?

When I place an order, it's most generally on a weekend. I tell myself *don't even LQQK for it* til the following Monday...that's 6 working days. And I tell myself that if I'm really good, just maybe it'll arrive on Saturday...so I'm good . I figure if I'm EXTRA-special-good, I might even get delighted on Friday . I live fairly close to SN so *everything* really depends on the USPS. I have enough minerals for several lifetimes, so even though I'm *always* excited to try new things, I'm rarely in need of anything "yesterday".

In short, I give myself a best-guess date & I don't look before then!

I live far enough away that I know it will probably take at least 5 days,so I most generally place an order on the weekend,knowing that it will be the Next Thursday or Friday before it gets here. I alos have enough to last me for quite awhile, so other than curiousity I'm never really in need of a certain product. I have learned to order foundation, when I mix my last batch so that I won't run out, and if I do, I still have some samples from other companies that I can make do with if I have to, until my next order gets here.

honestly? i usually do one of three things:

1) swatch parts of my collection
2) make myself entirely too busy
3) (i do this the most frequently) Look at all the stuff on SN that I haven't ordered and add things to my wishlist and revise my wishlist until my package arrives. I often end up with another order halfway through the week. ;p
