I've finished, I've finished, I've finished

I've finished, I've finished, I've finished - me shouting at the top of my lungs

I don't think I mentioned this but on 1st Oct I started my first university course with Open university - Design and the web. It's only a 10 weeks course but doing that with a full time job ain't easy!!!!!!! It's one of the reason I haven't been posting much as I used to in the last month or so (especially in the last couple of weeks). But now I've FINISHED. I enjoyed the course (when there weren't any problems lol) but I'm just soooooo happy it's over :D :D

Our last assignment was our examination - to make our very own website for a company or social group, well I choose to make mine an online book club - teehee I couldn't resist. As the deadline for the assignment it's up yet I don't want to (it might be against regulations or something) go into too much detail as the nature of the book club, but if you've read my reading book post you know what kind of books I read - nudge, nudge wink, wink

I was quite happy that I didn't have many problems in this last assignment as I already made obvious mistakes in the beginning so I could avoid them now. The only thing I had a real problem with was our restrictions, we had to make a 6 page website but we were only allow 1200 words for the whole thing - grrrrrrrr not enough words. I had to do some serious editing as (you may well know) I can talk about books until the cows come home and when the fat lady sings!!!

I can now also say that I have a whole new appreciation for people who work with the websites' and use them as a selling product point for selling mineral make up :D

Hey congrats, Ghost, that's very impressive. I've done a little dabbling with the ole' interweb myself - untrained formally but a good friend is a world-class pro and took me under her wing, though to say I'm still a novice would be generous! I'd love to hear your candid thoughts (here, on via PM) on studying with the OU - something I've looked at seriously in the past and want to do perhaps for the February intake.

I think you deserve a little treat, hmm? Perhaps something colourful? 8-)

[praise][awe] Congrats! Artsy, project classes are always the hardest...they're so time consuming even if you're not working full time- oh and how do they grade those stupid things?? I can't imagine trying to learn that in 10 weeks. [/praise][/awe]

Congrats! That is terrific! I have my final final tonight and I'm failing miserably at concentrating, haha

I keep telling myself I'm not allowed to buy anything else unless I get a good grade. So back to studying now!

It's a bit of a twisted web site, but I like sorta twisted things.
