Foundation Help, Please?

Hello!

I hate to inundate you all with questions, but I'm new to the idea of mixing my own foundation and was hoping you all could give me some starting ideas. I'm adding a picture of myself without makeup on in natural light (I'm sorry I look so spooked... somebody sneaked up and candid camera-ed me ). The photo was taken this summer, so I may be a little pinker there from sun exposure than I ordinarily am (I'm not quite sure whether my undertones are more pink AND yellow or just yellow :?)

Thanks in advance for all of your help! I'm really excited to get mixing!

I don't see much in the way of yellow in your skintone in the picture and I am taking into consideration that you said you are kind of pink there from the seasons. I am thinking you will be in the Warm Gold range. Probably about a 1 scoop color to about 10 or so Ivory. Ebony might work, too, at a 1:7. Still, the exposure of the pic makes me wonder if it is just not showing golden.......Is it a phone camera?

Nope, it's a regular camera... I may just be fooling myself into thinking I'm yellower than I am, though. Thank you so much, Jen! I will try Warm Gold and Ebony... now I just have to wait until everything gets here so I can go Mad Scientist :geek: and begin mixing!

Thanks again!
