Foundation Help?

Hi all!

I'm new to the forum, but I have placed a few orders from SN over the last few months, and I quite like it, especially the skincare ;)

I'm also a regular customer of EDM, but I have been unhappy as of late with their foundation. The color matches wonderfully, but I'm having some breakouts and wearing off, and thus, I ordered the SN sampler and it arrived today!

I'm hoping there are a few people familiar with my colors. I wear EDM's Fawn and Sweet Almond 50/50. They're both fairly light shades. Fawn is straight up yellow, while Sweet Almond is a very green shade with some yellow and some very slight brown undertones. My skin is very yellow and green, almost a sickly color lol. I'm also wondering if the green concealer Unblush would be a better choice to mix in than the Olive?

Right now I'm thinking 1 scoop of each Buttery Gold and Olive to 8-10 scoops white? I could use some help though lol.

Thanks!

Hi cait,

I think Buttery Gold is the place to start. Olive has very little yellow to start, but adding it might work. First try Buttery Gold at about a 1:6. If it needs more brown and green then adding Olive is the way to go (and it is very dark in comparison to Buttery Gold so try to add .5 Olive:5 Ivory) But if it just needs more green, the Green Color booster is the way to go.

Thanks Jen!

I totally looked past the Green Color Booster! I'll have to order some of that, but for now I'll try the BG and see where I'm at :)
