lip gloss help!

Hello!!

I have dark skin (MAC NC 45..1:1 buttery gold:ivory, with a liiiiitle bit of peach to darken it a tad).

So far I have: Jaybird, Hot blooded and Fig Leaf. In general, I like them all! It took me a little while to make them work for me, but I really do like jaybird and fig leaf...hot blooded seems a bit tooo red for me. Fig Leaf barely shows up on me (my lips are really pigmented) but it adds a nice shine and a tiiiiny bit of tint. I thought maybe Hotblooded would be better because it seemed more pigmented..but I think it might not be the right red for me. Would Reddy look better? It seems a bit darker. Because my skin is so dark, I think really bright colors look strange on me. However, I'm going to give Hot blooded some more time, because it took me a few days to really start liking jay bird and fig leaf.

One of my favorite colors is Mango, from Alima, which is described as a shimmering coral pink (http://www.alimapure.com/roi/772/Minera ... g-Lipbalm/). Is there a color on SN that is similar to this? Mirabelle seems nice but maybe too much peach? Maybe Mimosa? Not too sure.

Anyways, thanks!!

i think you would be happiest with the lipsticks and demi-glosses which are a bit more opaque. Unfortunately, they're currently being reformulated and aren't available for purchase... For the kisser slickers, I think you'd really like temptation, pout, and raindrops on roses, and maybe nectar. In the liquid glosses: copper rose and vintage.

Yeah, it comes to us all eventually. Embrace the addiction - as addictions go, this is one of the most fun ones to indulge 8-)

Temptation works well as either a coral or a red, depending how many coats you put on.
I totally recommend it!
