Hi,
Just a quick note to wish all of you a Happy Memorial Day! I'm not sure what we're doing for it yet- but I do know that since the post office is closed on Monday that we will be as well. I'll check email here and there over the weekend, but I think I may chill for a bit too!

Its bank Holiday for us on monday in the UK.

Happy Memorial Day to everyone in the US and have a great bank holiday weekend to everyone in the UK (and yes Bank hoilday in th UK means a longer rainny weekend without fail, every time lol)

That is such a funny coincedence about the rain, because we almost always have a rainy weekend for Memorial Day, too! It was cool yesterday, gorgeous today, and storms tomorrow.

haha. yeah i agree- memorial day weekend is ALWAYS rainy. I used to work the artsfest every year in central PA (one on memorial day weekend and one on labor day weekend every year) and it ALWAYS rains. ALWAYS.

Clouds and Showers here also. However, that is much better than the wind that we having been having all week. Funny how if it is Memorial Day weekend, it is sure to be rainy in all parts of the country. Hope everybody had a good weekend.

Just thought i'd update that last night in the center of the USA (Southern IL) it was TORNADO time!!! lol. Lots of rain but i didn't even realize it was a tornado watch (my boy and i work at a movie theatre and he said they had to do the thing where they line all the customers up along the walls). Figures I missed it, I didn't notice the earthquakes last month either... lol

Most of the weekend was gorgeous near Albany where I was visiting my sister- but sure enough- rain on the way home. It still beats last time when we drove home in a huge snow storm. I've always said that I'll take just about any type of weather where I don't have to shovel. I hope that you're safe and managed to avoid the worst of the storms.
