Hello I m a newbie of Skin Naturals, but I m a MMU fans and going to try SN foundation. Would you please give me some cool advice?

I am using EDM Olive-Golden Medium and EDM-Golden Light, swatches per below

For me, I think i have strong yellow base (plus little bit Olive or Beige?? I dont know, hehe  ).
Starting with Butterfly Gold and Warm Gold should be my first step right??

How about the ration? :?: Ivory : :?: Butterfly Gold OR Warm Gold??

Scary no make up photo had been uploaded for more clue

Also, there is a pigment in the photo's left cheekbone, which concealer or primer can cover it up nicely?? (I m getting old and "the dot" seems getting more and more darker  ) I am using GA-Master Corrector No.1 (Pink) to cover it up, it does help to reduce the color but it is costly!

GA Master corrector link also for you guys info

Thank you so much for help!

Just a hunch, but i think you'll end up happiest with the olive which (for me) is more brown than the golds. I suggest getting the foundation sampler kit which comes with 4 foundation pigments (buttery, warm, olive, and ebony) and maybe a couple of extra jars. You're definitely a warm tone- if not olive, probably buttery- you have a lot of deep yellow.

The easiest way to tell is to swatch each of the pigments in a line on some part of your body (face, chest, inner arm) and see which one is closest to your skin without being off in someway (off meaning TOO: yellow, pink, dull, etc). Take the shade that was closest and get the right depth by mixing with the base and if it's a little too much of "something" balance it with one of the other bases.

My own closest foundation pigment is Olive. Buttery was too yellow for me, warm was too orange for me, and ebony was too cool for me so it made me look dull.

I agree that testing the color bases from the kit on your skin before mixing to see what is closest is a good idea. I can usually get the closest color match with pics in natural light. Indoor light is a little trickier to read.

I think you will probably be closest in Warm Gold based upon the shades from EM. Since you think you have a strong yellow base, Buttery Gold might be better. Both will probably be somewhere in the 1 sccop color to 6-8 Ivory range. This is just a guess based on the photo and previous matches. It will take a little testing. If the Warm or Buttery don't quite work, there are other little things we can add, but it is best to keep a simple recipe.

turned out that I m totally butterfly gold shade, 1 butterfly gold : 5-6 Ivory (also added some angel /crystal glow too  )

due to the perfect harmony kit only available the ORIGINAL formula at the moment, I cant compare with the VF coverage

according to the other thread that mentioned the VF coverage is in between original and medium

To try the other coverage levels in the Ivory that contains silk, you can buy those samples seperately, or in a kit that contains the Ivory, a scoop and a jar.
They are on this page:
