Going to try again-- need help w/recipe

I have impossible to match skin. It took me months to figure out a great match then Val went out of business. Then the painful sampling began again and I found a good enough match, but now it looks off and chalky although my skin tone really hasn't change significantly. I am obsessive about sunscreen after my melanoma diagnosis so I really get minimal color in the summer. Before I totally give up on minerals and go back to liquid, I want to give SN another try. I am thinking if I add some of the zinc finishing powder to the base it will help cut down the concentration of the silk to the point my face will tolerate it. While I play with the base I need some ideas on getting the mix I need for a good match since I know the Ebony alone will be too pink.. These are the only pics I have without MU and our camera isn't working to take one outside. Thanks for the help!

Hi Lyn,

From your pics, I too think Ebony is too pink. I do see some obvious yellow in your skintone, too. I am wondering if you are a blend of WarmGold and Ebony or ButteryGold and Ebony. I don't see any olive. I would probably start at 1Warm Gold:1Ebony:15Ivory(or any of the whites). I would probably start at about 12 whites (pick your combo) and add more if it was too dark.

Buttery Gold is more yellow than Warm Gold.
