Status 2, means that we are very temporarily out of something- usually orders that are marked Status 2 are shipped within 24 hours- if anything takes longer than that- usually on something we don't make- like brushes, then we ship what we have and send the rest when we get it. Today we sold out of Oatmeal Serum, French Lavender Moisturizer, Original Ivory Foundation (first time ever...I make it by the bucket), Sheer Zinc Powder, Jojoba and Raspberry Moisturizers...but I made pretty much all of it before I left for the day, and they'll all ship tomorrow!

Some of you newbies are hardcore....Sam, Ghost, Cupcake, xraisonxdetre, Egerandi- you're in good company. I about threw my back out carrying BFA's package to the post office.

   Thanks for the laugh Karen (and for the info)!

I'm still debating my order. It's a toss up between the enjoyment of getting a ton of new stuff and the guilt over the money. I want to decide by tonight though in the hopes of getting my order before the holiday weekend is over. I want the chance to play before going back to work!

Man you work hard!! :D That's actually awesome for you Karen! It's so great that you are doing so well! You deserve it! I can wait!! I absolutely love the oatmeal serum. I just bought a sample a couple weeks ago and can't wait to get the full size! I'm also looking forward to trying the ultimate luxury treatment powder. I bought a sample. Is it meant to be used instead of a moisturizer at night? Is it good for all skin types? It sounds so fantastic! :D

I knew this would happen. I kept thinking it's going to be a good Christmas for Karen this year :) I ordered the jojoba for my daughter. She uses my pure jojoba oil and gets it all over the sink. I'm hoping what I ordered won't be as messy. :D

This actually happens to me.... lol and yes, using the moisturizer instead does help. I much prefer the bottles SN uses to the ones oil normally comes in. I just want to get a few drops and it ends up leaking all over the bottle, and then on the counter and before you know it, half of that expensive oil has gone to waste!

Oh, and Zeebs- and oh my gosh- my brain isn't on straight at the moment- I know I'm leaving one or two of you out- don't take it personally...I'm so sorry I left you out of my last post!!! Yup, having to work hard is what you pray for when you're self employed- we thrive on crazy at the shop (we've often thought it would be good fodder for a reality show). The back is fine...I just hadn't touched anything to do with shipping in months- so it was all a bit shocking for me today. Susan was out, so I got to be her today- she left me some very big shoes to fill.

With the ultimate luxury powder- I wear it on top of a moisturizer. The pearl powder is wonderful for softening, but this time of year I always need a moisturizer. That, and some oil helps the Vitamin C dissolve a bit. It should work for all skin types- but it's not going to do a whole lot for controlling oil.

Robinbird...don't stress about money. Most of what we put on the site isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so you can pick and choose without stressing out over the bills too. Makeup should only be fun...a few smaller orders leaves you something to look forward to.

SweetBeca- that's why we do the gelled oils- I always made a mess with straight oils, and I never quite got even coverage with one- it would always pool in places. The gels seem to help- nothing drips down my arm anymore.
