Ladybug....it is not so much that you are Olive toned, but that you needed something to counteract a little pink where your face normally flushes. I think they call it ruddiness. I have it too, but I run a little more olive than you. And we still wear about the same mix. It really is more of a color theory trick....the slight green balances out the pink to bring you back to neutral. Does that make sense?

I wore my mix of 1 ebony to 8 ivory today. Right away I got a compliment from someone I see all the time. She has never said a word about my makeup before. Today she says your makeup looks so nice what brand do you use? I have to say that really convinced me. I didn't think anyone would really notice. My husband thought it looked nicer too, but I did make him look. So here's a picture you can tell me what you think. If I need to change anything to the mix let me know. Thanks Jen for the advice on the amount to use.

Thank you ladies. Your so sweet. I will definitely be placing an order for full size foundation after I try all of the formula samples I have. Tomorrow I am going to do heavy. Friday will be vegan. Today was medium.

Hi everyone! I've been lurking for quite some time and even with all the help Jen has given to others, I still can't figure out what to do for myself. I'm Chinese but don't think I have the typical yellow undertone. My veins look green and I feel like I'm more of an olive-yellow mix. I've been using EDM Olive Golden Medium (Winged Butter was definitely too yellow) and looking for more of an exact match! Should I think about getting Warm Gold and adding yellow booster? Or Buttery Gold and adding green booster? (Or am I totally off? ) Would love any suggestions!!! Also, would Tempt Tryst be a good fit?
