Both taken this morning, in the car, one with flash, one without. Excuse the faces, I was singing along to the radio.
I can't see your pics....

Much better! I would try Warm Gold or Olive. In Warm Gold it will be close to 1 scoop color and about 8 white. In Olive, it will be close to 1 scoop color and 12 white.

Hi Jen, I just got my sample pack and would love a professional opinion on which color(s) to start with. Here are some pics, all morning daylight, no makeup. Sorry if they come out huge.

Thanks for your help Jen

You look pretty neutral to me. I think Ebony would be a good place to start. Try 1 scoop color to about 8 white, but you might need at least one more scoop of white....

Hello, I am waiting for my samples. I ordered them in medium coverage, and was hoping for a good place to start color wise. It is overcast outside so this is the best I can do for now. I usually wear Revlon Colorstay 150 Buff in the winter and Colorstay 200 sand beige right now, which is a perfect match. Thanks!

I am thinking Olive. I think about a 1 scoop color to 10-12 white will do it. If it is not right, we can go from there.

Hi! I need help. I have heard great things about your foundation but do not know where to start. I have slightly oily skin that has occassional acne. I usually wear a foundation in a neutral tone. I have hyperpigmentation that I need to cover up. I want to order a starter kit but don't know which one to choose. I also don't have a clue on where to start with the mixing. Help

I think you should start with a sample kit in Medium Coverage. From your photo, you look to be a Buttery Gold, but I can't be certain.
When you get your sample kit, I would get an eyeshadow brush and swipe just a light amount of the base tints full strength on your jawline. Pick the one that seems to blend best with your skin. In Buttery Gold and Warm Gold, I think you will be close to a 1:5-6 (one scoop color to 5 or 6 white scoops). In Ebony probably a 1:5. Measure the scoops flat like you would in the kitchen. Put scoops in the jar and shake it up for a while before trying it on your face. It should go on just a little light.
