awwww congrats! I am so excited for you! I just got married in September and my advice is to just enjoy the ride and do the wedding you want to do because it is his and your day. I know that was unsolicited but I hope it can save you some headaches. :)

Congratulations! You picked out a beautiful ring together. Just the kind of engagement ring I want one day. Simple and elegant, the very essence of engagement somehow. I can almost feel how utterly happy you must be. :D

Yep, it is. I really didn't know what shape I wanted until we were actually shopping. Once I saw how the round looked on my hand, that was it!
A round is just so classic, I love them. Of course a solitaire is also such a classic look. Someone I work with has a similar ring and then with just a plain band. It is a beautiful look. Enjoy your engagement. I am sure you will be a lovely bride.
