Precious, Infatuation

Post by zeebs » Sun May 03, 2009 10:24 pm

First off: THANK YOU for the sample of Precious. It is an excellent color on me. Kind of an MLBB sort of thing, on the nude side (I can also do MLBB on the pink side).

My question is this: what is it that Precious and Infatuation have in common? Because those are the only two lippies that have looked really natural on me. (Many look good, but these are the only two close to my natural color.) Infatuation was a lot darker than my natural color but it didn't look fake at all. Precious is almost exact, but a little more nude (but still very natural).

And based on that, what other colors should I go for?

Thanks!

Infatuation is on the cooler side. Precious is definitely warm - but they've both got a plum tone in them.

Maybe the plum matches your natural lip pigmentation?

I also got Precious as a sample--and I fell in love! I can't wait to get it in my next order!

I'd bet it's the carmine...it's my favorite pigment for lippies because it just doesn't look bad on everyone. Precious and Infatuation get a lot of their coloring from it- as does Gold Blush, and Pout. Rhonda had a lot in it as well.

Huh. I do like Rhonda and Gold Blush a lot. Maybe I'll try Pout.
