How does Reddy compare to...

Post by Rhys » Thu Apr 30, 2009 11:14 am

For anyone who's got them: I can wear Hot Blooded, Rouge, and Cherry Crush fine out of the SN reds. I could never wear any of the red lipsticks proper, though - Celebration, Classic, Supreme, Platinum (I think that was the other one).

How does Reddy compare?

Thanks!

Reddy is a cooler version of Hot Blooded. I wonder if the pigmentation level in the lipsticks was just too much for you?

I'm not sure, Jen, might have been. When I had Celabration, I used to use a gloss like Sparkle from another company to tone it down enough - because Celabration alone was screaming on me. Have never had a problem with Sweetheart either - so maybe it was just too much pigment. That's happened to me with lipsticks generally from anywhere. I can wear Rhapsody and Bliss (though I'll usually use gloss with Bliss), but those are the only two proper lipsticks I've been able to pull off.

You may want to give Reddy a try - I really like it as a daytime red. As Rouge works for you, you can layer a bit over Reddy to get a bit of a different effect. I wear Rouge alone too, but with Reddy it's just a little extra kick ;)
