Adventure

Post by royalgoddessbeth » Thu Apr 23, 2009 4:26 pm

I received my order yesterday and I have to say, I was a bit disappointed about Adventure. I expected more of a violet-pink look, but it's just warmer than I expected....almost more of a salmon pink on me. It's a pretty color, but I was definitely hoping for something cooler.

It is kind of a chameleon color. What have you paired it with? When I pair it with Purr, it looks a little warm, but with something cooler toned, it looks cooler.

Also, how does it look compared to the swatch on your monitor? How do you have your monitor set?

Ok, I asked Karen to clone BE's Heart and I am so happy that she did. I do agree with Jen Adventure is a Chamelon color, so is BE's heart. Pair it with something warm and you are going to see a warmer pink, pair it with something cooler and it looks cool. For me it is the perfect non-neutral neutral, it makes a great all over lid color, add either cream or vanilla as a highlighter and bassalt as a liner, put on the mascara, and I'm good to go. I am also a lover of Cashmere, and to me Adventure is a warmer, slightly purple tinged version on Cashmere.
