Hi,
Has anyone bought the Elegant Brown Quad eyeshadow kit? I have blue eyes and medium brown hair and was wondering if this kit would look good on me. I can wear some browns, but some browns make me look dull and dreary. What do y'all think?
TIA,
Cin

Re: Elegant Brown Quad
I have a biased opinion obviously- but I can't really imagine them looking bad on anyone. I was really going for pretty, shimmery, flattering shades with this one- nothing blah, or muddy. I'm not the world's biggest brown fan- but I can get excited over these.
If you're hedging, give Brown Sugar a try- it's not from the quad, but it's one of *my* browns...and good for just a simple wash.
If I missed the mark- anyone please feel free to chime in- we test things here, but often what happens in testing, and what happens in the real world are 2 different things.

Re: Elegant Brown Quad
Ok, i didn't feel like taking a picture but here is my review:
As most of you know, my everyday goto eye is vanilla, quartzite, luxe, and bittersweet. the elegant brown quad is basically another version of that which blends effortlessly and is perfect for work, etc.
I changed out vanilla for cream, quartzite for posh, luxe for chic, and bittersweet for vogue. chic is pretty understated and a nice subtle contour color. Vogue is pretty dark and i think i still prefer bittersweet or mink for lining but if you like darker brown liners than vogue is perfect.
