Zeebs-
You are a tricky girl! It is a challenge to find pinks that are not too cool and not peach, but I am the gal for the job! I am pulling everything out today to see what goes with Disco. The liking greens really helps, as well as the colors of clothing you like to wear. I gather you like warmer colors with pop.

Have you tried Taupetastic as a liner? It might be too gray for you for other uses, but it might be a very nice liner.
Whisper might be exactly what you need along your browline to really open up your eyes. I actually think it is a good choice, but maybe it just needs the right placement and blending. Nekkid is a little darker, warmer and peachier than Whisper, but on its own it looks like a warm pinkish nude. Highbeam will be a little lighter than Nekkid and probably a little on the peachy side, but it has a nice pink interference that might make it work. A nude that is a tad less peach than Nekkid is Teenie Bikini. It has the pink interference, too.

I remember that you are wishing for a coppery lippie. I think you might just need a coppery brown for liner and outer corners and crease. Legend is pretty much a straight copper. Teakie is a golden brown, and would be my pick for you. A little less golden and coppery, Luxe would work, too.

I guess overall, I am leaning Luxe and Nekkid. Them more I look at Gold Blush, it should be in your bag. The current amped up version of it is Berry Crush.

I am still thinking matte blushes since you have not been much of a blush wearer. Listed from brownest to pinkest (but not that pink), I'd look at Jamie, Maybe Baby, and Flirt. If you wanted a little sheen, try Bronzed Beauty, Climax, and Foxxy (also listed brownest to pinkest).

Jen, you are right on the money! I added two more scoops of white to my foundation and it is perfect now. So that's 9 white, 1 ebony, 1/4 buttery gold.

Exactly, warm colors with pop is the right way to describe my needs. A friend of mine saw a hat at a bazaar and had to buy it for me because they were "my colors" - the hat has cocoa brown, a blueish teal, royal purple, bright mustard, and a bit of purpley red. And she was right, it matched almost my entire wardrobe.

Here's a complicated thing about pink - I am actually wearing pink today (the only pink thing I own) and also pink nail polish and after all this talk about pink, I was like, "wait a second... I can wear pink... I am wearing pink right now." Both the shirt and the nail polish are BUBBLEGUM pink. Not pastel at all, and not fuschia at all. Bubblegum is exactly the color but I feel like they are both warmish - the shirt has gold metallic accents. If pink can even have yellow in it, this pink does.

Also: I used Taupetastic and Whisper together today, and the Taupetastic still rubs me the wrong way because it looks muddy grey. It did look better foiled (see - you were right!) but on the lid it borders on corpselike. However, Whisper is kind of growing on me as a highlighter shade - I think I just need to be careful what I pair it with. I also got a new eyeshadow brush which is WAY better for blending the minerals and I think that helped me with Whisper.

I will take your recommendations for blushes and lippies - thanks!! You had great insights for me.

Based upon this, your 'popping colors' should be Poly, Bewitched, Bling, and Naughty(more purplish) or Plush(more reddish)!!!

Bling is a mustardy, antique gold, not a true mustard, but the others fit the description perfectly.

Yay revised wish list! I am taking ALL of your suggestions. You girls rock my world! And Jen, you really know your stuff.

Oh no... this means I will have to buy more makeup!

What do you think of Quartzite? It's hard to tell from the photo.

Also - the green shadows. Charmed, Gator Gold, Lichen, Moss? Can't tell if Charmed would be too pastel and can't tell if Gator Gold would be flattering or not. Lichen and Moss - will they be too dark on me? And then there's Grassroots Green.

Sapphire is really pushing it... even though I do like saturated colors, I'm not sure dark saturated colors are the way to go. So I am a little wary of the darker greens.

Sorry for hijacking this thread; I know it's supposed to be about blush. :?

Thoughts on greens and Quartzite?

Zeebs-
Quartzite is one of my main colors. It is a creamy light tan. It goes with anything. It makes a great highlight color for warmer toned gals, because Whipped Cream might be a bit too white, and Vanilla doesn't have quite enough warmth.

Greens:
Gator Gold is an Antique Gold with a touch of green in it.
Charmed is not really pastel, more like spring green. It would need alot more blue in it to be a seafoam pastel in my book.
Grassroots Green- this color is just gorgeous and if you like green, you need this one.
Lichen- dark, but a more interesting liner color. It is a little brighter than Moss, and probably falls better into your color pallette (I am remembering your perfect print from above) It is a deeper tone of spring green, kind of avocado.
Moss-pretty dark, but might work as a liner. This will look almost greenish black on you, oh fair one!

Okay, I will take Lichen and Moss off my list. They sound too dark! I am excited to try the other three though. :)

I'm thinking Gator Gold might be a real winner for you. The only pastel green I can think of off-hand is Pixie. Teal Appeal is kind of pastel, too, but that's more a green-blue.

Caperberry might work as a liner for you - not sure, but it isn't quite as dark as Moss is, though the tone is fairly similar.

Thought it was time for a little update!

Nekkid, Luxe, and Teakie look AMAZING. Like I mean AMAZING! I especially love Nekkid and Teakie. Quartzite is not my favorite but I can wear it sooo I guess it'll be okay.

Gold Blush was good, but Rhonda was amazing! At first when I put it on my wrist to swatch it I was like... uh-oh... this won't work... but on my lips it looks pinky and almost nude, very bizarre, but wonderful. Gold Blush is a little toooo gold to wear as a subtle look but I think it'll be good for neutral eye days.

Climax is wearable but not perfect (too peachy-pink, not true pink on me) and Bronze Beauty is a little too gold/peach (it might be cute as a shadow though). I still think Heavenly is the best of the three when applied with a light hand.

UPDATE - all right, I pulled out all the stops. I ordered samples of:
1 x Sample Pure Silk Powder
1 x Sample Date Bait
1 x Sample Tempt Tryst
1 x Sample Foxxy Blush
1 x Sample Jamie Blush
1 x Sample Flirt Blush
1 x Sample Maybe Baby Blush
1 x Sample Pretty Plum Blush

Jen!! I really love Foxxy and Maybe Baby!! Foxxy is nice and pink and looks like a healthy glow (healthier than my natural glow, lol) and Maybe Baby mimics my natural color really well. Jamie and Flirt also work well! I am having trouble choosing a favorite. Bronze Beauty still isn't working for me but the rest are fine. Pretty Plum is a little too dark but is interesting for a change of pace. Date Bait and Tempt Tryst both work fine as perfecting powders, with Tempt Tryst being my favorite. Those were great recommendations!!
