bad days involving makeup

Post by zeebs » Fri Jul 18, 2008 9:03 pm

First I ran my Gold Blush lip gloss through the dryer and then I got the run-around at work. It was seriously upsetting. Mostly the gloss.

Oh bummer. They survive the wash, but the dryer is a no-go. Whenever I do it- it's always my "nice" clothes- the treasured ones that I saved-up to buy, or the special treats.

I hope your weekend is better.

There ARE no bad days in my calendar. There *are* little odd blobs of craziness & bummers (like I am SUPPOSED to be in Atlantic City today *playing*) but just some days that are better than others. Yesterday was the full moon & it capped a week of craziness in my world, but TODAY will be a MUCH better day! :-)

Have learned, lol, to REALLY feel nooks & crannies before tossing clothes in the washer & dryer.

Sorry about your lippie. I LOST my 1st Breathless & I was *bereft* until replaced so I share your pain.

I did wash one SN lippie. I was so relieved that it survived the wash.

I really don't have any bad makeup days since I am hooked on SN. I am now wearing eye liner (thanks to the cream eyeliners!) and I cannot live with Silk Perfecting powder (Tyst and original)

Now my hair....that is another story!

thanks for empathizing with me... I have been (temporarily?) better about emptying my pockets of glosses now that I have SN glosses to lose! (My clothes are, generally speaking, indestrictible in nature, as that's what I shop for because I KNOW that I will be running lip glosses and other assorted nonsense thru the dryer with them from time to time.) I fished Capricious out of my pocket just now when I thought (bereftly - apt description Mikie) of Gold Blush.

Ah well. Just planning to throw another Gold Blush into my next order, which, BTW, will include Silk Powder, full size Tempt Tryst, and several new shadows, God willing.
And maaaaaybe full size blush if I can decide on a favorite by then!

Dog just ate Infatuation, Rare Berry, and a new almond flavored lip balm from Blissful Bath.

Ouch- that's not good. I had a cat eat an entire stick of butter one night- she had the most beautiful full, glossy coat for a while after that. The litter box wasn't pretty- but she was. I'll bet the dog will be gorgeous with the nice bit of castor oil added to his diet!

Ouch- my mother's dog has a thing for peanut butter- thank goodness she's not into lippies. You got me on a copper kick today- who knew it blended so well with so many colors?? I'm a believer now! Now I get to make the lippies to go with the blushes and shadows- let's hope your dog isn't into the new ones.
