Strawberries and champagne blush

Post by Trainer » Tue Oct 13, 2009 7:15 pm

Has Strawberries and champagne blush been discontinued? I saw it on the swatch gallery. It is the exact color I'm looking for. Sparkly light pink. Is there anything that is close to it available now?

Thanks! :D

Yes, it's been discontinued - twice! It was one of the original blushes, I think. I remember Karen saying that they formulates it on Jamie's first day at work. S&C was brought back briefly along with Rich blush for a short time last year.

I would *love* to see them both brought back again. I nervously dithered (on a budget) and missed out on both but having seen swatches, they're so very beautiful.

Ooooh I hate when I do that with something I want!! :D
I was thinking about making an "icy" snowbunny look with it!! ;) Maybe with ice princess lip wand and a light e/s?

it was very very pale/not intense. Maybe try petal blush or playfull shadow?

is stardust similar at all to strawberries and champagne? i never tried S&C, but in the swatches, stardust looks very similar; and on my skin, it does come off as a very light (but beautiful) cool pink.

Hi packgal, I really love stardust and it is the closest blush I can find to what I'm looking for I just wanted it a tiny bit pinkier, but subtle with some sparkle. SnC looked perfect. Something like the cherub glow but a little pinkier.

I could wear Strawberries and Cream, but Stardust is way too warm on me. It's not really an ice-princess colour. Maybe Cosmic or Tart Light would be better if you're cool-toned?

Seconding Rhys, I would suggest Cosmic, very light handed: perhaps mix with a bit of moisturizer to make it lighter and dewy at the same time?

A little Petal, or Tart light, or Babydoll with a smidge of Angel over the top would do it...
